The Mexico Tourism Board and Arrival Agency are pleased to present Market Mexico: an outdoor market experience in the heart of downtown Vancouver on Saturday, September 15. This free event will take place in the lower level of Robson Square from 11:30am until 8:00pm, with a licensed cantina operating until late.

To paraphrase Pablo Neruda: “Mexico lives in its markets...”. That is what attendees can expect—an immersive Mexican cultural experience with food, drinks, music, arts, crafts, and shopping.

Enjoy market staples such as tacos, tortas, and elotes (Mexican corn); indulge in sweet treats like horchata, pastries, and churros; and sip on aguas frescas, agave spirits, and micheladas in the cantina.

Full lineup of food and beverage stands will be announced closer to the event.

In addition to food items, Mexican-inspired clothing, jewelry, and artisanal items will be available in our vendor village.

Full list of vendors will be announced closer to the event.

Market Mexico also features music, dancing, and a Grito de Independencia (Mexico's call for independance ceremony).

Full lineup of entertainment will be announced closer to the event.

Be a part of one of the biggest cultural events in Vancouver. Vendors get access to 15,000 plus attendees at Market Mexico and will receive ample exposure in the media and online leading up to the event.

Applications for vendors will be open soon. Send in the meantime if you'd like to join us.
